It’s already been a week since I left home to embark on this journey and it has flown by. At the same time it already feels like I’ve been in Kathmandu for quite a while. I was originally planning to be on route to Everest Base Camp by now but some locals I’ve met told me about the Shiva festival that is starting in a few days. So I decided to stay for that and hopefully get some nice shots of the festivities. After that I’ll be starting my trek to cross off one of the top things from my bucketlist: seeing mt. Everest with my own eyes. It will be a hard and long walk, but I’m sure that the end result will be well worth it. For now I’m going to have some tasty mo mo’s (sort of Tibetan dumplings) and enjoy all the other things that Kathmandu has to offer. God bless!
